A vote for me is a vote for:
Experience
■ As the current Chairman of the Forest Acres Planning Commission and a member for the last 10 years, I am dedicated to mindful growth and development that still holds true to the spirit of the city.
■ Having served a critical role in the redevelopment of major hubs in the city - Cardinal Crossing, Brentwood, and Richland Fashion Mall – I’ve spent the last decade observing what has worked and what has not.
I want to use my experience to ensure that as we thoughtfully grow our city centers that we do so in a way that is mindful to our residents and their desire to maintain Forest Acres with the small-ttown appeal.
Perspective
■ As a long-time resident of this city, it is my goal to ensure Forest Acres is the kind of place where my son will be happy to not only “be from” but to continue to live in.
■ Through my work as an IT consultant, I have had the chance to work with many of our city’s businesses but am not beholden to any interest groups.
I’m not a real estate investor, developer or lawyer. I am a member of the Forest Acres community and I hope to bring that necessary perspective to the city council.
Purpose
Becoming a father has made me strive to demonstrate the importance of public service. I want Francis to live in a town that he is proud of and one that his family has served to preserve and improve.
My sister-in-law, Leigh Ann Poston, a beloved Forest Acres City Clerk who died unexpectedly last fall, encouraged me to serve Forest Acres, but insisted that I run for City Council after she retired.
It is in her honor and with an abiding love of this city I call home, I am humbled to seek support to serve on City Council, a role where I feel that I can give even more to the wonderful city of Forest Acres.
